Screening tickets can be purchased through each films’ introduction pages. You will receive a digital ticket via email. Please show your screening ticket at the door either on your mobile/tablet or as a printed version.
If you are planning to purchase five tickets or more, we would recommend buying a screening card. Screening cards are not personal and can be shared with friends. More information about screening cards below.
Please note that we do not accept ticket reservations for DocPoint screenings. Purchased tickets cannot be changed or refunded.
Most DocPoint films have either English dialogue or English subtitles. Please check the language details carefully on each films’ introduction page before purchasing tickets.
DocPoint will not compensate a purchased ticket, unless an error has occurred because of the festival. DocPoint – Helsinki Documentary Film Festival reserves the right to possible changes.

The festival’s presale box office is located on the ground floor of Bio Rex (at the Amos Rex counters), Mannerheimintie 22-24, Helsinki.

BOX OFFICES DURING THE FESTIVAL:
The DocPoint Festival Centre is located on the 2nd floor of Bio Rex, Mannerheimintie 22–24. At the Festival Centre you can buy tickets, get to know the programme and relax between screenings. The Festival Centre is open during the festival, every day from 10am – 9pm.
DocPoint box offices at the festival venues are open according to their opening hours. You can buy a screening ticket from any theatre to any theatre. Click here for more information.
Screening cards can be used to redeem tickets for all festival screenings. Screening cards are not personal, which means you can redeem multiple tickets for the same screening with one card.
The screening card has a code which you can use to redeem screening tickets via website or from the DocPoint box offices. Please store this code safely – eg. do not share a photo of the screening card in social media. You are not required to use the screening card at once – you may use the same code multiple times until all the card is used.

Give a screening as a gift!
The screening card’s gift option is delivered as a separate PDF-file to your email address. You may print the screening card to give as a present or forward the PDF file via email.

Tickets can be purchased through Finnish online bank transfers (Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Aktia, Säästöpankki, POP pankki, S-pankki, Handelsbank and Ålandsbank) or with most debit and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, DinersClub, American Express).
FESTIVAL BOX OFFICES:
We accept cash, most debit and credit cards (Visa and MasterCard), ApplePay and culture vouchers (Smartum Saldo-card, Edenred Virike-card, ePass as well as Smartum ja Edenred vouchers). We also accept Stydi-culture voucher.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY AND TICKETS
Wheelchair tickets are available for purchase online from Fri, Jan 3rd onwards or from the festival box offices Thu, Jan 23rd onwards. Please note that if you have a wheelchair but wish to sit on a cinema seat, please choose a regular ticket.
Free tickets for personal assistants can be requested by emailing email@example.com or from DocPoint box offices. Please note that if a screening is sold out, accommodation for personal assistants is not guaranteed. Please make your reservation in advance as to ensure a ticket for your personal assistant.
