Based on current information, there will be strikes held during DocPoint Festival, which takes place on Jan 30-Feb 4. The strikes will take place on the Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of the festival week on Jan 31-Feb 2. According to the most up-to-date information, the strikes will not affect the organisation of the festival screenings or the festival venues. According to current information, there will be a public transportation strike in Helsinki during the DocPoint Festival on Friday, February 2nd. As the strikes are not expected to affect festival screenings or the opening hours of cinemas, the screenings on Friday will proceed as planned. If you are unable to attend the festival screening on Friday for reasons related to the strike, and you have purchased a ticket, we can cancel your ticket upon request. In that case, we will offer you a replacement ticket that you can use for any film screening of your choice during the festival. We are also contacting the affected customers directly by email, if possible.

This option is only available for tickets purchased for Friday’s screenings and must be requested before the festival begins. Tickets purchased during the festival for Friday screenings cannot be exchanged. Since the Friday screenings are currently scheduled as planned, refunds will not be issued for purchased tickets.

Requests for replacement tickets should be made via email to tickets@docpoint.fi by Wednesday, January 31st, at 18:00. Please include the ticket number you wish to exchange in your message.

We are actively following the situation and will announce any changes to the programme on our website.
