The Last Misfits by The Golden River is a film about land, generation gaps and things coming to an end.
The film follows the last gold miners living in the midst of wilderness in distant Lapland. Only an old television set as the messenger of the outside world, the miners try to make the most of their last moments in the existence as the government is closing down their way of living. Not happy with the government’s actions, this small community is fighting against the legislation that’s leading to their downfall.
