Taking part in the International Competition series, Acasa, My Home is Romanian Radu Ciorniciuc’s directorial debut. Before his career as a director, Ciorniciuc worked as a scientific author, as well as an investigative journalist for major television stations all over Europe. His film follows a Romanian family who have lived in the wilds of the Bucharest Delta for over 20 years. The family of 11 is faced with an eviction as the city has grand plans to turn the area into a public park. The Sundance 2020 awarded Acasa, My Home will hold its Finnish premiere at DocPoint.
