Iranian Amin Behroozzadeh (1978) started his artistic career as a musician. His shift into the film world first occurred as an actor, after which he stepped into the director’s shoes. Fish Eye, shown in DocPoint’s International Competition series, is his directorial debut. Awarded at Sarajevo Film Festival and presenting its Nordic premiere at DocPoint, Fish Eye is a glimpse into the everyday life on Iran’s biggest fishing vessel. The poetic -or perhaps critical? -journey shows viewers what it takes for the ocean to survive humans, and just what it takes for humans to survive the ocean.
