The 22nd DocPoint – Helsinki Documentary Film Festival will take place over six days, from 31st January to 5th February 2023. The festival kicks off on Tuesday the 31st January with an opening screening, while the main festival programme will take place between Wednesday and Sunday. 

“We wanted to rethink how we use our resources. A shorter festival enables us to boost the programme outside of the screenings: side events, discussions and creating a sense of community,” Inka Achté, the Head of Programming explains. 

DocPoint offers audiences the best new documentary films from around the world, as well as various opportunities for audiences to share their experiences at  seminars and other events.

“The themes we have confirmed for our next edition are music and representations of gender. We will be serving an even stronger, more communal festival experience and great parties!”
